The New City Players

Welcome to newcityplayers.org.uk, The New City Players was a local drama
group based in Milton Keynes, UK. Founded in 1971, the group took its name
from the city, was entirely self-supporting and used to produce three amateur
dramatic productions each year; a pantomime in the winter, a play in the summer
and a musical in the autumn. The group’s founder and producer, Joan
Walker, died on 15 September 2018 and the group is no longer active. Click ‘Past Productions’ to see programmes and photographs.
